Blobade is an exciting IO battle royale game where you grow your blob, collect food, dodge rivals, explore shrinking arenas and unlock new characters.
Blobade starts with a simple idea: begin as a tiny blob and work your way toward the top of the arena. Food-filled chests provide the first boost, helping your character grow in size, health, level, and score. But you are not the only blob looking for an advantage.
FROM TINY BLOB TO ARENA CONTENDER
In Blobade, your blob starts small, so the first priority is finding food. Chests scattered around the arena can contain valuable supplies that help improve your stats and increase your size. Once you have built up some strength, rival blobs become another part of the strategy. Some may be worth challenging, while others are better avoided until your character is ready. Gold earned during matches also carries over, giving you a reason to keep improving even after a round ends.
Your Way Into the Match
Blobade offers several ways to enter the arena:
- Play Online: Join practice matches or public battles with other players.
- Play Offline: Take on AI-controlled opponents on your own.
- Play Vs Friends: Create a private room and invite friends using a room code.
Mouse Controls Keep Things Simple
Mouse Pointer: Move the cursor to guide your blob around the arena.
- Left Click: Perform a quick slash against nearby rival blobs.
- Hold Left Click: Charge your dash for a stronger move.
- Release Click: Send your blob forward with the charged dash.
The Shrinking Arena Changes Everything
The arena does not stay the same throughout the match. As the boundaries shrink, open space gradually becomes more limited. Blobs are pushed closer together, making movement and decision-making increasingly important.
Early in the match, you can spend more time searching for food and building your character. Later, finding the right position becomes just as important as gaining more strength. Keeping an eye on the shrinking boundary can prevent you from getting caught in an unfavorable spot.
