In Rooftop Rush, each playthrough begins with the skateboarder moving forward relentlessly, forcing players to react quickly as the rooftops form unpredictable patterns. Gaps, ramps, barriers, and steep drops appear in quick succession, demanding precise jumps and perfect timing. Trails of coins often stretch across perilous paths, tempting players to take risks for greater rewards, while rooftop police officers lurk, adding pressure to every decision.

As the distance increases, the gaps between rooftops narrow, and mistakes become unforgiving. Missing a jump, landing incorrectly, or a direct collision will end the game instantly. Collecting the letters that spell FANCY unlocks a special flight sequence, sending the skateboarder soaring into the sky to collect coins before plummeting back into danger.
