No, I’m Not a Human is a psychological survival horror where solar flares scorch the day and shape-shifting Visitors test your trust each night.
A catastrophic solar anomaly has changed life on Earth forever. During the day, lethal bursts of radiation set fire to anyone exposed to sunlight. Forests burn. Cities collapse. Civilization retreats indoors. Humanity now survives only under the cover of night but darkness brings something far worse.
These creatures emerged from beneath the Earth’s surface, and although they look and speak exactly like humans, they are anything but. If they catch someone alone, the result is swift and brutal.
GAMEPLAY OVERVIEW
In No, I’m Not a Human, you play as a nameless homeowner living in a small house on the outskirts of a collapsing city. A friend’s warning echoes in your mind: do not leave the house. The entire experience unfolds within your home - a claustrophobic safe haven that slowly becomes a psychological battleground.
Each in-game day pushes the world further into chaos. News broadcasts flicker across a bulky CRT television. A landline phone hangs on the wall beside handwritten notes. The aesthetic evokes the turn of the millennium, blending nostalgia with dread.
Outside, the countryside is scorched. Inside, paranoia grows:
- A kitchen fridge stocked with perishables that slowly rot over time.
- A lucky cat figurine resting quietly in the living room.
- Shuttered windows that allow you to cautiously peek outside.
- Subtle background sounds - distant cries, garbled radio chatter.
How to play
- Movement - WASD keys.
- Head rotation - mouse movement.
- Interaction with objects - E key.
Humanity, Bias and Deadly Assumptions
Every night, strangers knock at your door seeking shelter. They are randomized from a wide pool of unique personalities. Some appear nervous. Others are desperate. A few unhinged. In a world falling apart, irrational behavior is normal which makes identifying Visitors nearly impossible.
