The original concept for Temple Runner was to let the player manage the character's endless running by rotating the scenery. But this idea caused a feeling of dizziness. The developer later added limitations to make the game more manageable. After much deliberation, the group settled on having the protagonist sprint along a route reminiscent of the Aztec temple and the Great Wall of China. The sense of adventure this evoked captivated the player.
GAMEPLAY
The plot of Temple Runner revolves around the adventures of an explorer in search of legendary treasures hidden in ancient temples. Players will take on the role of the main character, facing dangerous challenges and running away from chasing monsters.
Control character
- Move - AD or left/right arrow keys.
- Jump - W or up arrow key.
- Slide down - S or down arrow key.
